GTA 6 pre-orders: every edition, price and bonus
What $79.99 and $99.99 actually buy you, the bonus you get without pre-ordering at all, and the physical-edition detail most coverage missed.

Everything Rockstar has actually confirmed about GTA 6 — release date, price, editions, platforms and pre-order bonuses. Checked against Rockstar's own announcements, not the rumour churn.

The short version
Only things Rockstar has said on the record or listed on its own store. Where the internet is guessing, we say so.
Release
Announced in December 2023 for 2025, pushed to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026 for "additional polish". Take-Two has publicly reaffirmed the date since.
Platforms
No PS4, no Xbox One, and no PC version announced. GTA V and Red Dead 2 both reached PC eventually — but Rockstar has said nothing about GTA 6 on PC.
Price
Standard is digital or physical. Ultimate is digital-only and adds vehicles, weapons, apparel, five exclusive customisation locations and a special mission.
Pre-order bonus
Included with any purchase before 20 November — not just pre-orders. A '55 Vapid Stanier, period outfits for Jason and Lucia, and a palm-tree weapon finish nodding to Tommy Vercetti.
Single player
Their words, in the pre-order announcement. No GTA Online component has been announced for launch — a notable break from how GTA V shipped.
Pre-load
Digital pre-orders pre-load from 12 November. The physical edition also arrives that day — and contains a download code in the box, not the game on disc.
Setting
Jason and Lucia, a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state. Reporting from the Extended Look puts the map at roughly three times Red Dead 2's world.
Systems
Police now work from a description and must identify you. A Criminal Profile tracks you all game and never resets. No microtransactions in single player at launch.

Written from the primary sources — Rockstar's Newswire, official uploads and store listings — with what wasn't said called out at the end.

19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar set this date on 6 November 2025 and it has been publicly reaffirmed since.
$79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the digital-only Ultimate Edition. Both include the Vintage Vice City Pack on any purchase made before 20 November 2026.
No PC version has been announced. Rockstar brought GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC long after their console launches, so it's widely expected — but that's an expectation, not an announcement.
Rockstar's own pre-order announcement calls Grand Theft Auto VI "a single player experience". Nothing about an online mode at launch has been announced.
12 November 2026, a week before launch, for digital pre-orders. The physical edition also goes on sale 12 November — with a download code in the box rather than the game on disc.
Twice. Announced December 2023 for 2025; delayed 2 May 2025 to 26 May 2026; delayed again 6 November 2025 to 19 November 2026, which Rockstar put down to needing additional polish.
No — and this catches people out. The Vintage Vice City Pack comes with any purchase before 20 November 2026. Pre-ordering digitally also adds a free month of GTA+.
Not real, obviously
Our original parody of a Grand Theft Auto game that doesn't exist — working cheat codes, a fake crew, six radio stations and a city map. It's the daft half of this site, and it lives at its own address now.
